Burner tip

The burner tip is the point in the natural gas delivery system where the gas is consumed. Often it is generically used to indicate once the gas goes through a customer meter.

Technically it is the part of the specific appliance that consumes the gas such as these shown here:

The term burner tip price is often used to refer to the cost to the consumer after all supply, transportation, storage, and distribution charges have been paid.
