Bundled service

The service that gas and electric end users receive is actually two services: commodity (which is the natural gas or electron flow) as well as delivery of the commodity. While the delivery of the commodity on the distribution system remains a monopoly service, some or all customers have a choice of commodity supplier in many regions. Bundled service happens when the distribution company provides both commodity and delivery service.
